Utah Road Trip!
After taking my second CPA exam, my mom and I decided to take a road trip starting in Las Vegas and working our way up to Salt Lake City, Utah. We saw 4 national parks on or trip and had some very funny experiences along the way.
Check back soon for posts about all of the different parks we visited!

Family Day at George’s Island!
Lived in MA your whole life and never heard of/been to George’s Island in Boston Harbor? Same. However, over Labor Day weekend, my family and I headed to the island to walk around and explore Fort Warren. For more pictures of the day, click here!

Shana Butler, B.S.B.A
Recently, I graduated from my home-away-from-home, Stonehill College. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting. I’m sad it’s over, but I’m extremely excited to start this new chapter in my life. I decided to decorate my grad cap saying “No, I can’t do your taxes” and I naturally glued it sideways…. oops.

Quotes are always nice when you find a good one. I’ll be updating this every week or so with a quote of the week that I really connect with.
This weekend I decided to take a morning drive to Lexington and Concord, MA. My first stop was Sleepy Hollow Cemetery where Henry David Thoreau, Louisa May Alcott, and Nathaniel Hawthorne to name a few, are buried. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to go to Walden Pond, but that is now at the top of my list of things to do in Massachusetts.
Seeing their headstones inspired me to look up some of their famous quotes. I knew realized how inspiring they are, especially this one. The root of many of them is to enjoy the simplicity and pure adventure of life.
